I am happy to post this new collection of cow watercolors. This series is colorful and bright, and just makes me happy.
After not picking up a paintbrush in over 12 years, I am enjoying this new found creative outlet. It’s one that helps me release some stress and anxiety.
Below are the latest 6 designs in the herd.
Meet Lotty, Jules, Darlene, Susie, Julianne, and Vanessa:

Selling original art is a tough gig these days. Many artists are turning to print their original art onto gift products as a way to supplement their art business.
Are you thinking about selling your art on gift products? I set up a shop on Redbubble and it is a great place to start, because it takes zero monetary investment on your part.
The biggest two factors for me in choosing Redbubble was the quality of the products and retaining my rights to the artwork as an artist.

There are many websites out there that offer the same service as Redbble, however, a word of caution–read the fine print before signing up with any site that prints your art on products. Some do not allow you to retain your rights to the art YOU created. If you ever decide to leave your online shop, you will lose your rights to the art you uploaded. (Not cool.) And, the site will continue to sell your art.

What is great about Redbubble (RB), I create the art, upload and select the products I wish to offer and set the price. I promote the products on social media and my blogs. Then, when a product sells, RB produces the product, ships it and collects the money.
Once a month I get the profits deposited into my account. Easy-peasy. They do all the money work for me.

So, what about the quality? Excellent. I have several of my designs on iPhone cases and tote bags. I really love the totes. If you ever stroll an artisan market (they are all over the Denver/Boulder area), you will see totes are sold by many artists.
You have to drive buyers to your shop. That can be a tough one too. But, if you are diligent, work to increase your followers and promote your art, you will see your products selling. Know that it won’t happen overnight. There is no such thing as overnight success. Remember that.
